Game Change
So I made a slight change to my game last night with very good results. I stopped playing at FullTilt and moved to Bodog. The play at Bodog was significantly more reasonable (e.g., I never saw anyone call a 4X BB bet with 59 off suit). I saw only a reasonable number of bad beats. Either way, it seems like it is time for me to get away from FT a little. I’ve had such a frustrating run there lately. I’m not inclined to believe that the site is out to get me, or even that they’ve rigged it in any way to increase the rake, but if I keep running so bad there, right or wrong I’m going to believe.
Either way, this is a cruel game. I lost 3 buy-ins at FT last night. Luckily I won one of them back at Bodog. I understand that losing is part of the natural variance, but winning should be too.
Let me know how this works out for you. I’ve read about a few people doing the same thing recently. I wonder if FullTilt really has been compromised?
I’ve just had an awful week – getting beat by the most ridiculous hands over and over. And ALWAYS on the river.
Anyway, I’m not crazy about the BoDog UI (I prefer PokerStars), but I’m willing to give it a shot.
