I hate my luck
This one goes into my “wins with small pots, loses with big ones” file. Did I do the right thing here? I think I did. He had 4 outs. So what’s that? A 16% chance? I was running well. I was up a significant amount. Now all of that progress is gone. Notice that he called with a straight draw and two overs for a whole buy-in. How much do I have to bet to chase away a draw?

One thing I know is that you’ll never get somebody to drop their hands at these levels.
You just have to hope that your hands hold up.
Don’t let this get you down. Just be happy that there are players out there who will call a big bet on a 4 outer.

Dude, these guys are crazy gamblers its not your fault. He probably thought you had some kind of a smaller pocket pair and figured I have two overcards and a straight draw. But hey, you could not have played this hand any better.
