Is this a coincidence?

Played all night last night at PokerStars.  I had an awesome night.  Ended up about 25% of my total deposit.  I got dealt a lot of crappy hands.  It felt like I was dealt crappy hands more often than I am usually dealt on FullTilt.  Made folding easy.  Am I upset at the bad hands?  No.  Because when I played a hand, it played mostly as I expected it.  I lost when I pushed things too hard.  I won when I had the best hand.  Sometimes when I had a draw I got it, sometimes I didn’t.  They played out at about the frequency the odds say they should (with one exception: I got in about 5 times with open ended straight and flush draws, which should offer better than 50% odds to me on the turn and one won one of them, but that’s statistically possible).  I even had pocket aces hold up twice.  Ahhh…PokerStars.

One time I had a very good draw and got all in with a guy in a tournament and picked up my draw on the river (I had 7c 8c and the flop came 6c 8h 9c and he had QQ…I hit a 7 on the river for the ugly way to win).  The comment window lit up with comments like “that’s just like this site” and “RiverStars”.  From my perspective that was a totally reasonable way for the cards to fall.  He was overvaluing his over pair and I had a ton of outs.  Either way, it did tell me that people believe the same thing no matter where they play and maybe it is just coincidence that I ran bad at FT and am running good at PS.  I probably won’t go back just yet either.
